Overview

The Clinton Devon Estate's 1,900 hectares of woodland are situated in East and North Devon, and comprise a rich mixture of both commercial conifers and native broadleaved species.

Our commitment to forest management has resulted in 17% woodland cover, compared with an average of 7% across England. Our woodlands are truly multi-purpose, providing environmental, recreational and landscape benefits as well as producing a sustainable supply of timber for the wood processing industry. We were one of the first estates to receive international recognition from the Forest Stewardship Council through certification to the United Kingdom Woodland Assurance Standard.
