New employment space available at Liverton 2
A five hectare site to the north of Liverton Business Park is being developed to deliver in the region of 10,000m2 (100,000ft2) of employment space for businesses in the light industry or the storage and distribution sector.
During the development phase, businesses interested in a tenancy at Liverton 2 will be able to have a say in the design and layout of their building and site, subject to the necessary planning approvals.
Owners Clinton Devon Estates say Liverton 2 will be developed and maintained to the same high standard as the current Liverton Business Park, which won an award in 2009 for the best business park in the south west.
The new site will be carefully landscaped, with particular attention being given to preserving existing hedges and valuable trees. A new footpath and extended cycle route will link the development to residential areas and local amenities.
Initial ground works are expected to begin in spring 2011 with the intention being for the first tenants to move into their purpose-built premises in 2012.
